CUTTING GARDEN: You may take large bouquets and large bunches of basil as well as small bunches of the other herbs. There are some husk cherries that are starting to ripen. A husk cherry is like a small, sweet tomatillo. You remove the fruit from its papery shell to eat. They are ready for harvest when the papery shell turns yellow-gold. The husk cherries usually fall to the ground when they are ripe. You can probably harvest a small handful this week, and a bit more next week.
