CUTTING GARDEN — !!!The flowers and herbs survived the weekend (no frost)! But we're expecting some colder night temps Friday which might kill some of the flowers and herbs. This might be your last chance to cut certain things!!!
This week you may pick medium bouquets of flowers, and small bunches of any of the herbs. Also, you may pick several hot wax and jalapeno peppers, as well as any hot paper lanterns that have turned red, or magnum habaneros that have turned orange.
The cilantro has gone to seed and is now CORIANDER SEED. Please feel free to take an entire plant. You can hang this up at home inside a paper bag to dry further, then collect the seed for spice!
