*At the time of this post we are still harvesting beans and do not know the exact amount yet.

CUTTING GARDEN: You may pick large bouquets and large bunches of basil. The cilantro really needs to be cut, so please take more than you have been. You may continue to cut small bunches of other herbs.

BEE UPDATE: We've looked through the cutting garden on several occasions and haven't found a bumble bee nest. The bees have not been aggressive the last several days. There are a lot of bumble bees currently in the bergamot, so if you're concerned, please avoid that area of the garden (the bergamot is labeled). Please avoid disturbing flowers with bees in them, and if a bee flies into you, take it as a warning to slowly back off from the area you're in.

We are currently pinching all the basil that didn't get pinched by you last week and making bunches. Some or all of you will be getting bunches of lemon basil, thai basil, or genovese basil.

*I forgot to mention last week that some of you are receiving virtus radicchio which is green and looks a bit like romaine.
**Most of the beets this week are an heirloom from Denmark called cylindra. They are cylindrical in shape rather than round. The beet greens are also edible.

CUTTING GARDEN: You may continue taking small bunches of herbs and cutting small bouquets (something like a handful) of flowers. Please come by anytime during the week to visit the cutting garden — it's a bit soggy out there today!
