The peas have just started to come in and there were only enough for full shares this week. There will be plenty for all next week.

CUTTING GARDEN: The herb garden is now open! We moved the herb garden
this year. If you are facing the entrance to the barn, the herbs are to
your right just past and above the large oak tree. Everything is
labelled. Please be careful to walk in the pathways and not the beds.
This week you may take small sprigs of any of the following: sage,
parsley, thyme, oregano, summer savory, and leaf fennel. You may cut bunches of chives.

PLANT SALE: instructions for the plant sale are posted in the greenhouses.

*Crop update: So we were supposed to have more broccoli and cauliflower for the last few weeks. Our mid-summer planting of 600 or so plants, was razed by woodchucks the day after planting. Fortunately, they only ate the top leaves leaving the crowns of the plants intact. But this set the crop back, and although we no have big beautiful plants in the field, they have only just begun to develop crowns. We're hoping to have some for mid-November winter shares, but a hard freeze might destroy the crop.
